Winter Fair!

Every year before winter break we have a fair at our school were teachers/students can sell stuff for fundraising or whatever. Our leadership was selling Pizza, Drinks, Ice Cream and Balloon Game. We all had different jobs. Mine was the Cash box for the drinks line. During the winter fair the dance team performed because we are cool like that! ^---^ There was a lot of people watching but i'm use to a lot of people watching me! ;D I remember in the morning i kept smack talking the other dance team but when they was performing i was screaming my head off cheering for them. Then my teacher comes by me and askes me what im doing & i said im having good sportsmanship! ;p lololol. This years Winter fair wasnt that crazy because we have less students now so it wasnt that bad. We didnt get to walk around this year but its okay no one had any good things. So we just stayed at our jobs. When the entire fair was done i was put in charge to make sure everything gets cleaned like NOTHING HAPPENED. So while other people was cleaning these two boys was just standing around. I was so mad that i told them to turn around and KEEP WALKING! I think people are scared of me now cause i was screaming my head off! It was nuts! ;p but thats how i am when you put me in charge! In the morning it didnt go so well but as the day went by it got better and better. The 6 of us stayed after school talking which was a good way to end the quarter. It was fun talks were everyone was laughing, screaming, just acting stupid. It was fun. I enjoyed the day which is a good way to end the first semester of 8th grade. ^-----^

Secret Santa! ^---^

We finally got to see who our secret santa was ^O^ I really enjoyed this activity, too bad we never do it last year. It was funny seeing who other people had and what other people got. It was funny seeing others expressions when they figured out there secret santa. I think mostly everyone got what they wanted. I could tell by there expression >;) I never expected my secret santa to be my teacher. It was funny when they picked my teachers name. When we picked his name. He stood up grabbed his present and walked towards me. But i was sitting next to one of my friends so i thought it was for him. When my teacher gave out the present i thought he was giving it to the person sitting next to me, but when my friend reached out for the present my teacher said "No this isn't for you." It was funny because my friends face just lit up because he thought it was for him but sadly it wasnt xD When i was opening my present there was SO many wrapping paper. It was fun opening the gift. I think my present took the longest but OHH WELL! ;p When i got ALL the wrapping paper off it was this long skinny box. So i opened the box but i didnt look inside. So at the top of the box it was open. This girl sitting next to me grabbed the box and looked inside. So one of my other friend said to her "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" and she got scared and jumped. It was funny because it wasnt even her gift and she was looking in it like she owned it! lolololol ;P My secret santa got me exactly what i wanted....Angry Bird Dolls! I was soo happy that i ran and gave him a hug! Now i can put my angry birds in my new room. Also Josh bought me an angry birds poster so im like EXTRA happy now! ^---^ As the day went by i kept taking the angry birds out and just holding them. Everyone was asking me what i was doing, I didn't know what i was doing. I was just so happy! I hope our teacher keeps this activity going through out the years because i want others to experience this fun activity! I'm having Angry Bird Fever!! >:D lolololol.

Waving Signs! ^----^

This morning us leadership went to the front of Boys & Girls Club on the street side so we could sign wave for safe driving on our streets & roads. We all had our own signs and standing in a line waving at the people. Our teacher said that we couldn't cause attention so we just had to wave and smile, wave and smile. I was really tired so i just waved and yawned, wave and yawned. It was funny because people kept staring at us instead of beeping there horns "RUUUDEEE" You would wave to the people and tell them to beep there horn and they would do NOTHING! Like ummm excusing me...Do you see me?! "RUUUUDEEE AGGAAAAIIN" But it was pretty funny cause we was pointing out the different cars and making names for it. It was pretty fun. Also we seen some teachers and they never even beep there horns "RUUUUDDEEE AGGGAAIN X2" Teachers dont even support there school.....Thaas' sad. Some people waved and beeped there horns. We had some weird horns beeping. It was kinda confusing. Also this officer kept coming to my face and talking really loud. Why did he always do it to MEEE for? Twice he did it....Like bruh' BACK OFF! Lols....But i did enjoy that morning sign waving for safe driving in school zones or anywhere... DRIVE SAFE 4 EWA!! ^-------^

Talent Show!

OMG! We had talent show this week and i was soo nervous because my dance group was performing and we was just nervous. When the day came we was SOO UNORGANIZED! --______-- We didn't have our music and when we had to performing it was like i taught them nothing. I was kinda mad when we did our first performance cause that was just terrible. But the last performance was better than the first one. But i think we did okay. We had some problems as the talent show went on. Like people walking on stage when someone was performing which was the BIGGEST problem of the day. That day wasn't so good. Everything we did just kept falling and messing up. It was kinda getting frustrating cause i was already nervous about dancing then i had some more unnecessary problems coming along! Our dance went pretty well. But some people got confused and didn't know where to go. We was all in one place and doing the wrong moves. I was kinda confused because we practiced some much and when the day comes everyone forgets #SMH I guess i can say we did Okay, we could of done better but we did okay...

Video Essay!

Okaay you know that my class us doing a presentation for our heros and that includes.......a video essay. I looked really dumb in my video but ohh well! During my video essay I was speaking about my mother for 2 mins. And during that 2 minutes & after watching it I could feel my own feelings about my hero and about why she is my hero. When watching my periods videos. I could see the different heros and the different feelings about their heros. I learned that they look up to there hero because they was there for them or they always stood by there side no matter what. What i learned about my hero is that she is a special hero. Shes one of a kind. No one else has her but me. I look weird in my video but i gotta suck it up! I wrote a script during my video essay cause at first i didn't know what to say but when the time came to doing the video i didn't need my paper. I just threw it and just starting recording and said whatever came out. But i had someone sitting in front of me so i was actually talking to someone so i didn't look retarded. This assignment was interesting for us and for others. Getting to see others hero & letting us know who our hero is. I think that everyone should have a hero because having a hero its like having another you but you just look up to your self. Having a hero can save you no matter what the situation is. I know mine did...

Hero Presentation ;D

I wrote a blog about my hero so low I'm making a power point about my hero. We have to have 6 slides. The first slide is the title Of my power point. The second slide is the introduction of my hero. I have to write a little bit about my mom like little summary about her!! The third slide is a reason why she's my hero. Slide 4 is another reason why she's my hero. The 5th slide is a video essay if my hero. I have to talk about my hero in the video in gonna look weird but oh well lols, then the final slide is the final summary of my hero and why she's my hero. This power point is gonna be AWESOME!! Because I made it and I made it! Haha, but i'm gonna enjoy this presentation because i wanna see other peoples heros. I wanna see what people have to say about there hero and why. Its gonna be weird making the video essay cause your gonna be talking to your self. Kinda weird there! x) But we never did this activity before so its new to the 4 of us and i know that we are gonna enjoy it. When i told my mom about this presentation and i told her that shes the hero, she asked me why and i told her read my power point. Lols, It was hard for me to find pictures of my mom because she isn't a photogenic person so there is hardly photos of her. But i found some! Yeepy! Too bad my hero doesnt have like a nice  uniform, she would be like wearing zebra and cheetah print! haha! ZebraGirl! haha, What the heck am i doing! Yeup, you got an idea of the presentation. Time for me to fly and finish the power point! hahaha! ;P

Don't Bully

So at Ilima we had Campbell come to ilima to talk to us about bullying. I couldn't hear the guy talking so I don't know what was going on but I seen my leadership peers doing a role play on bullying. It was funny because they was talking smack about each other!! Also one of my peers was the bully and she was acting all bad. Also when I was trying to Lei the very very tall man he kept going higher so I couldn't lay him. It was so irritating!! I was close to stepping on his toe but I never cause everyone was watching!! It was getting tense because some people didn't know how to do one simple job!! So me and another person. Had to take over there job! It settled down after a while but after school just went CRAZY!! The lesson for today was to not bully. **Ithink Lols, ;D This assembly was interesting because someone in my leadership is getting bullied and they people bullying her was at the assembly so i hope they learned the lesson. I think bullying is not good for kids because it can lead to life threatening things. Also bullying doesn't show anything good. It just shows people that you like to hurt other peoples feelings. I never been bullied before so i don't know how it feels which is good. Hopefully the bullying stops with this person so they can focus back to leadership!

3 Musketeers

OMG! I just wanna slam into the wall with these 3 people. Theres so many reasons why i'm frustrated with them. One is because they can't work because they don't know how to post blogs on a correct date. So they couldn't work for about half a week. Another reason is that i give them and assignment so as soon as they finish it they can start working, so i gave 5 people the assignment and only 2 of them did it! 2?! Are you kidding me! If 2 people can do it in one day, i'm postive they can do it. When they have free time they are doing other things BUT NOT THERE POSTERS! I'm thinking to myself, WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY DOING?! Then i ask them are they done with there poster and they say no and don't even bother to do there poster. Another reason why i'm mad is that we just "Got one back" cause he aint officially in leadership and still HES DOING THE SAME MISTAKES! **I'm already running through the wall** Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I have nothing to say......................................!!

Good Job!

I have this 7th grader in my group. At first i heard stuff about her that kind of scared me from having her. I thought i would have to really work with this one. BUT i was wrong. She is doing really good. She's always on time. Never late. She's committed to whatever she has to do. She keeps up with all her work. Shes done some not so good things, but shes showing improvement. When i get to school shes already setting up. When we are still in the room shes already gone having all the equipment set up and ready. She knows what she has to do without being told. She was on it this week. I'm surprised! ^---^ Good Job! Keep It up! ;D

My Hero

You see this lady right here? Meet my mom, she's not my real mom, shes my grandma but i'm adopted so shes so called my mom. Its confusing. But she is my hero. My mom has done so much for me ever since i was a baby until now. Shes put up with this crazy chick. I can do the most retarded things and shes right next to me.

My mom does stuff for me that i don't even ask for. If i could ask for anything from my mom the one thing would be for her to be by my side no matter what dumb thing i do. My mom can be nosy but by being nosy she knows everything that goes on and she knows how to help. Its amazing how she does stuff with out being told or ask to. My mom always cares for my education & cares for me. It gets irritating at points where she keeps bugging me about school work but i know shes just looking out for me. I always tell my mom where i am because if i don't she will FLIP OUT! My mom can be a little over protective but shes just looking out for me.

My mom always tries her best to make us do better in life. I look up to my mom even though shes shorter than me, because my mom is like a machine. She can handle so much stuff and she makes like its easy but actually its hard. I look up to her because i dont have anyone else to look up to but im glad im only looking up to her because shes a good example of a good person. When i'm introuble i don't turn to my dad or my brothers or sometimes my friends i got straight to my mom because i know she will understand. Some of peoples parents dont understand there child but my mom knows everything thing about me. Every crazy thing about me! Some people don't appreciate the people they have in there life. I appreciate every single person in my life no matter what the situation is. I would tell my mom that shes doing a great job and that i love her for everything she does for me. Who's your hero?

No Connection, Follow Directions

If you guys have no contact with me you guys will use blogger! And for those of you with no phone, i will be writing a blog to contact you.....So what does that mean? Check blogger everyday to see if me, your peers or your leadership teacher posted anything that needs to be reached to you because we have no other way to contact you. Either you get a phone, get a facebook, or twitter. i don't care i just need a way to contact you. Its fustrating having something important i need to tell you guys and there is no way for me to reach you. I just wanna pull my hair out. Also i posted on Facebook the requirements for blogger and leadership rules. I'm gonna say it on here for the one person that doesn't have facebook........

Blogger Requirments

1. Must have a Profile Picture for your blogger.

2. Must be writing LONG blogs

3. Must be ON TIME. NO LATE WORK. If there is late work you will not work for the entire week. If you keep turning in late work, i will make you write your entire blog. Use your english strategies to put voice, word choice, organization, etc. into your blog entries. I know you guys learned how to do that.

1. No writing materials out(pens, pencils, etc)

2. No reading allowed. If i see any books out i will throw them in the trash

Shhhh...Dont Tell!!

Christmas is coming up guys, and that means gifts, but who gives them....SANTA! So our class is playing a game called Secret Santa. We are Santa and we have to keep it a secret or else we get in trouble. You wanna know who i have?.......SIKEE! I aint telling you! bwahahaha! xD Anyways. Well there are many things i could ask for but my choices became less knowing that theres a limit. Hahah, if there wasnt a limit i would ask someone to buy my a UNICORN! That would be hard! hahaaha! xD But any who. I'm moving houses, and i get my own room and my room is gonna be Angry Birds. So for christmas i would like something for my room that is angry birds. I would like to have these stuffed dolls or stuffed angry birds in my room. Haha, i could play my own virtual angry birds game! x) Lolols, If you have hard time finding these then i would want an angry birds shirt. Hahaha, lololols, i love angry birds! ^_____^ haha, it doesn't have to be the EXACT shirt but i want an angry birds shirt. Lololols, I'm having angry bird fever! ;D lolololols. Yeauh so this is what i would want for christmas from my secret santa! Good Luck finding them! hahaha. ^----^

ISA ;D

Guess what guys! Our school was hosting the first ISA of the year! yeepy! ^O^ lolololol, It was a tough morning on the day of ISA cause everyone was trying to set up things, people getting irritated, being late & just being PLAIN dumb........BUT we all have our heads still attached to our bodies, especially for some people *____* There was different jobs. There was Softball Fields, Basketball Courts, Water, & Bathroom. What has 2 thumbs and had the Basketball court as her job?!? THIS GIRL!!!!! xD haha, yeah I had to time the games, blow the whistle and the very loud horn, but i got over that the couple times i blew the horn. I kept asking the same questions over and over and over again! x) It's because i was nervous cause if I mess up then the entire game messes up and we wouldn't want that to happen, would we? ;| I dont think so! haha, Some people didn't know how to be responsible because we had an incident where someone brought something out that wasn't suppose to be out and another person lost that thingy! Soo that was kinda messed up! ALSO some people forgot how to treat others because i gave them 9 cans of juice and 2 cans came back to me but there was 9 people. So obviously someone didn't get any. So they got the best line of the day.........."Get Out Of My Face!" I was like Woah!! Backin' it up! lols, There was some dumb schools there but oh well......DEAL WITH IT!  Yeauh, Interesting ISA for Ilima. We was organized and everything went smooth, thanks to me.....JUST KIDDING! x)

Soccer Intramural

See this right here? I was the person in charge. What that means is that i was assigning everyone classes, and telling people what to do, Where to go. While our leadership teacher was sitting and watching all of us. It was fun being in charge, During Soccer intramurals i assigned every classes. The person i assigned a class was the host of that class. So they had to have a kicking sheet and they had to write down the scores. The class rooms had to kick soccer balls from a 1 point line then a 3 point line, then finally a 5 point line. It was interesting seeing all the classes kicking the soccer balls. It was pretty funny seeing teachers kicking the soccer balls too! haha. Intramurals lasted for about a week which wasnt pretty bad. We had some troubles but we all made it through. 

LazyDay!

Tooday is my lazy day! Out of the entire week of my fall break i choose the last day to be lazy! o___0 Wow! Very nice Shayna! But i woke up this morning ate & did my morning routine. Then i just climbed back into my bed starting texting, tweeting, & facebooking. It was pretty fun and relaxing! ;D But then my mom just killed it, she told me to clean my room. Soo i cleaned it really fast and jumped back into the bed and went back to my texting then until 12 i was in bed. Kinda funny! but i had to get up and go to the kitchen because i was hungry! Now my mom told me to get up and do chores! urrrgggh! -______- So i just told her im doing "Homework" but i ain't lols! Huuuuuuuuuuuuuur' im bored! School Tomorrow YYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaayyyy.....................................! Hahah NO!

A Quality Traumatizing Day!

Today was our leadership field trip at the beach! We meet all together at 7am in the morning! I was very tired! But I wanted to spend time with my leadership family! ;D Before we left our leadership teacher took all our phones so we could spend quality time together! Which was sad for me but i lived! BUT i was tempted to check my phone but i didn't. During the quality time something disturbing happened to me but it was just an accident, but i'm i have no idea, so whatever already. Its done and it ain't gonna happen again! LOL, but back to the quality time it was fun swimming with everyone. It was fun showing my leadership teacher my cooking skills! LOL, x) At least i didn't burn anything. But he said that i shown process from the pizza incident. LOL, i burnt pizza. Like full on BURNING! it was pretty fun! ;P But yeah. I had lots of fun at this field trip. There was alot of snacks but no one ate alot. But when our leadership teacher take some stuff home. We grabbed the snacks like wild animals! it was pretty fun. All our bags stuffed with snacks and other stuff. I know i had alot of stuff in my bag. I'm surprised no one fell down while carrying there heavy bags full of snacks! xP Also we tried teaching Josh how to swim. I think it went pretty well. But he doesnt take his feet of the ground it was pretty funny. It was hillarious seeing Shaela swim. She looked like a Machine trying to punch something. When i seen her doing that i was "Shaela 0___0 What are you doing ;P" she said "i was swimming" bwahahahahahahah! That was funny stuff! But i think we spent alot of quality time together. Some of us seen a different person at the beach it was pretty weird and traumatizing! ;P

Cold Feet

See this picture? This what i did during Homeroom & Period 2. Sit at the computer table suffering with my Cold feet. What happened? I have no idea what happen couple days before this picture i went to a basketball game and i was taking pictures as i was walking about i started limping. My teacher was asking me what happened and i couldn't even answer him which is kind of sad. But in the beginning when he put the ice on my foot it was sore. It was burning because it was so cold in there and i could take it out! But in the end it helped me a lot because i was walking normal but it still hurts, bit not as much as it did before. Interesting story ayee? >:)

Q_01_ComingToTheEnd!

Well guys this is the end of the 1st quarter of 8th grade. ):< This quarter has been rough and its been fun. I got the meet and study new people from different learning skills. Also i got the change to teach them and show them how to become who they really are. I think things are going pretty smooth so far. Let's see during 2nd quarter.





This quarter kicked & slapped me in the face in many different ways. I started of as the leadership of my 7th graders. I was the one to teach them & take care of them as family. I had troubles with some of my 7th graders but they finally snapped into the kids i taught. Then in the middle of the quarter i started rolling down the hill. How i went down hill is that i was someone totally different person that i was in the beginning. To be honest i really don't know what happened to me but all i care about is that i'm back to the old me. >:) Then in the end of the quarter i was back on top again. With being the leader, staying out of trouble and getting good graders ^----^

There are many memories i have from this quarter both negative and positive. From having the negative memories it leads to the positive memories. The most memories i had is about quality time with others. Me, my leadership teacher and my other leadership friend went to eat lunch and we spent quality time talking and having fun. Another memory is having a talk with our leadership teacher which really helped me a lot by letting everything out. Another memory was me and my 3 leadership friends and my leadership teacher went to eat McD's and we spent quality time laughing and talking. As you cans see i have many memories BUT if you noticed they have something in common it was all about quality time! >:)

Now it's time to make this 2nd quarter count because this is out last year in leadership and in middle school so it's time to use up all the time we have because when we get in high school its all gonna fly by so fast we are gonna forget the memories! When i leave middle school im going to miss everyone and the memories a lot! Its time to make it count!


Good Bye Quarter 01...........................

It all adds up to...?

We'll this week has been rough for me. But by being it so rough it added up to a different ending i thought it would be. It's been very confusing to, but its a too long of a story to tell. Friday morning was the most nerve wrecking moment EVER! I walk in the room and find my chair all the way by my teachers desk with my other peer's chair too. I walk in the room he tells us to sit down. I started freaking out about what he was gonna say or do. So i sat down and we had this silence 10 mins. Then all of a sudden these words came to us saying "Are you guys ready to hear what i have to say?" When i heard that i nodded my head but then he said "Make sure yo guys are ready because what i have to say is gonna hurt you" When i heard that i wasn't so sure i was ready to hear it. But in my head i was saying "Yes, lets get it over with" So he started. At first i was standing strong, but my other peer couldn't take it so she started showing her emotions with tears. It got me all sad but i stayed strong. But all of a sudden my emotions took over and i started showing my emotions. I didnt like that feeling but i had to let it out. I was tired of holding everything in and being strong. During the talk i said very little but that was just because  i was shaken up and didn't know how to answer. After the talk its like the day went by fast, During my leadership period i was sitting at my desk looking at my book flipping through pages, turning it upside down, turning it side ways, staring at the cover, i kept taking out papers and putting them back. I had no idea what to do. It was really confusing. More confusing for me to describe it. As the day went on we tried to stay out his way for a while because we had no idea what to do. Then after school came and when it was only me, her & my teacher he told me to sit down again. We had another talk but this time with no tears and no being afraid. This talk was like a normal talk that we usually would have. He would laugh at me while im trying to answer his question. I think i liked the after school talk better than the morning talk because i said more and gave a couple of Confident answers. Which felt good. As the pieces was being put together we finally finished the puzzle. After all this problems the solution to this was a ....................... hug! yes a hug. It's cool how a hug can change so many peoples emotions and feelings. It felt good knowing that things were about to go back to the old days. I learned that for a person to disappoint you, it has to be from someone you care about the most. . .

This past couple days have been very rough for me. But as i went through the couple days, i seen something about me, someone taught me, guided me & showed me how to shine. Also taught me how to shine independently. It's very disappointing to me also seeing someone like me fall down like this. I'm not that person that's suppose do to that. I'm suppose to be with the people on top of everything. This is why im here. Everyone makes mistakes but as for me i know what to do, i know how to do it. So i shouldn't be making mistakes like this so easy and simple for me. I'm not the one thats suppose to be making the mistakes, im the one thats suppose to be preventing mistakes from happening. Thats why he chose me. Not anyone else. Me! Everyone can see our mistakes. Thats why he chose me. He knew that i were gonna be great leaders. Also he chose me because he knew that i could shine together and independently. I want to be that same person he chose to be the one. I want to show everyone that i can be the bigger person. It's not to late for me to prove that i'm still here and i can do it by myself or together! This is the time. This is the final time. And im ready to be that person. It took long for you to shape us and mold us. Now its time for me to show you the shape you've given me. If it weren't for you i would be a lump not knowing who i am and who i want to be. Not everyone has that one person to do that. With your teaching skills i can use it to the next level. Not everyone has the skills we have. So i am very lucky to have them. It scared me knowing that my shape was going back to the way i was in the beginning. So its time for me to patch up the wholes and fill it up with what i've learned within the time i've been here! I've tripped on my mistakes now its time for me to pick myself up and try it again the correct way.

Cross Country ^__^

This quarter me and my 2 friends joined our school cross country team! We had to run 2 miles around a school! It was vert tiring but we did a pretty good job. We all never quit, we all finished the race. I was 30th place but its better than being last place! It was a good experience because cross country helps you with your fitness so when you do other activities for your school! This was my first year in Cross Country and i was FUN! ^___^ I think im gonna do cross country for high school! :)

5 Left

I had 6 people in my leadership group including me, but one of my 7th graders had to quit because she couldnt manage her work and leadership. She was causing some of the problems in leadership. But now that shes gone MAYBE things will clear up. Im not saying that now shes gone EVERYTHING is gonna fall in place we have couple of people that cause problems too! but we gotta see first! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Welcome Dance!

Opps, i forgot to tell you guys what happen at the Welcome Dance! Well... the dance was a success! Everything went well! We had no problems! When my teacher told me to start playing music i got nervous but during the dance i got use to it and just played songs like i was  a PRO dj(which i am...JK!) lols, We had a dance contest for best Shuffler & best dougie! We had to GREAT winners and they won each a Jansport backpack, so that was fun! Not that much people was dancing in the begining but in the middle more people came! ^____^ It was hecka hot in the dance but we lived! haha, There was Air Brush Tattoo, Balloon Darts & a waterslide! OHHH the water slide! A week before the dance we asked our teacher if we could go on the slide after the dance was done but he said no. So we thought it was gonna be boring for us but luckliy they picked up the slide late! so we got to go on! It was FUN! We was sliding like ANIMALS! What was really fun was when my friend Shaela was going on the slide another boy came down his name is Jacob and when he came down he tried to get up but while getting up he was rubbing his butt on Shaela! OMG it was funny, he face was the most funniest! lols, too bad our teacher never get that on video! haha, That was a fun day! Soo our dance was a pretty fun dance! haha lols, ^__^ (:

We finally finished the last intramural! FINALLY! Intramural's is really boring because we dont get to play and we have to stay out in the HOT sun! 0___o lols, but its a good thing for the students to do. So instead of reading they can come out and play, be active & have fun! We had troubles with intramurals about people not doing jobs. But we fixed that problem at intramurals! i refereed couple times which is good because i never did referee before so it was a great experience! lols, but we are all relived that its OVER! lol,  GOOD GAME GUYS! Time for the next one! (:

Intramurals_Day_1 ^___^ (:

Today we had intramural's. What inramurals is, is when homerooms from 7th and 8th grade challenge each other in games like Flag football, basketball, volley ball, etc. This quarters games are Flag Football! Flag football is like football but instead of tackling the player you pull of there flag! How we score the game is not the point or touchdowns they got it depends on the clip board. The clip board is the person who writes if the homeroom is on time, if the homeroom is in there box, if they have signs, if they have put downs, or swearing, etc. So that's how we score the teams. My 2 7th graders had the clip boards and i think they did a pretty good job. My other 2 7th graders took care of the equipment, lets just say that they could of done better. I had to remind then only twice which is an good average for my period 2. I thought i was the person to watch the field but i ended up refereeing a game because one of the Police officers were late. That was a great experience because last year i didnt get to do that! It was fun blowing the whistle and running the game. It taught me how to become a community contributor & a effective communicator with the teams and the teachers! It was hot out there but we survived! Its time for another round tomorrow! Deuces! ^__^

Leadership Field Trip! ^------------^

Today was our leadership field trip to movies & Ala Moana (Big Shopping Mall) ^__^ We went to the movies to watch Spy Kids 4D. What was so funny was that when the dog farted we smelt the thing anyways, Me & Rhea kept smelling it and our teacher said that we are dumb for smelling it over and over again! Lols but that was funny. Haha lols! The 4D wasnt that great but it was okay.! (: Then we walked to Ala Moana & went shopping. First we went to Claries to buy friendship necklaces. Then we went to Forever 21, Then we went to Hot Topic to buy hair color. Then we went to the food court and eat. Then when we was walking i started to act crazy & i kept dancing in all the stores it was funny. My friends was getting embarrassed but i said "ayye just have fun" (: haha lols Today was a fun day! But im super tired! T____T lols! ^_^

My 7th graders.

The start of my 8th grade year hasnt been a great start. My 7th graders are having troubles with listening and following directions. My leadership teacher had a call from one of my teachers elective teacher about her not listening. Also it wasnt the first time she wasnt listening. That made me really mad and irratated. Another of my 7th graders doesnt know what time to be at school when she has a job. So the other day she couldnt work for the one day. The 2 other 7th graders are okay. They didnt make no trouble they have no problem listening & following directions. The second week of school was the worst week ever. We got yelled at i was irratated with me group. Wasnt my best week. This week is going smooth excpet for the late 7th grader. My 7th graders are doing good so far. Lets hope that it can stay like this for the rest of the year. But what im scared of is im getting ONE more 7th grader because she won 7th grade office. Lets hope she doesnt cause any problems to my group. Well i'll keep update on how my group is now. ^-----^ (: ♥

Leadership Quotation

Period 2.

This school year hasnt been starting so great. I planned to have a great and fun year with my leadership but already starting with the yelling, tears, sarrow, pain & people get mad at each other. My period was suppose to be the family period but right now we are standing as the period that doesnt show love or care. My teacher has a quote for us and it say's "What goes for one goes for all." What that means is that if one person fails we all fail. To my perspective i dont think thats fair but going back to family it does. But the problem is that they dont understand what their problems is causing me. I really want to be in leadership im not so sure that the one specific person isnt ready for this challenge because if they cant handle school work and leadership work then i dont know why they are here. They have to look at there group and say "they really wanna be here, so im gonna take a stand and fight for what we are hear for." Thats what im looking for in that person. Today my teacher talked to everyone & he said that if one of us get kicked out for whatever reason will go down with them. When i heard that i wanted to cry soo badly because i plan to graduate as a leadership. I REALLY WANNA BE HERE!  I didnt work this hard just to get yelled at for someones problems. i came to make a difference in my school & my community. During the meeting i couldnt even look at them. When i look at them, inside i can see great leaders but they are showing me that they cant handle this. What i noticed is that 2 years in a row i have been in the same situation. What my teacher told me is that maybe its me. Maybe it is but im surely positive its not! Tomorrow is the last time im gonna warn them and if they cant understand that...then i dont know what im going to do. Like what is so hard about listening to teachers, being on time & be a great role model? Its not that hard. I was a 7th grader before & i didnt have no problem with listening and paying attention. I surely think that they might be reading this & if they are i dont hate you guys, i dont wanna trade groups. Im greatful to have to guys but at least step up. Give me a break atleast. Its tiring telling stuff over and over again. I'm tired of giving instructions out multiple times. I only need to say things once! So when you guys read this i want you guys to just sit for a couple of minutes & think. who do i wanna be? Who am i? What am i going to do? Am i ready? But the one question i want you guys to think about is....Do you wanna be here? Tomorrow i want you guys to walk in that door being the leadership students i want to see & during period 2 i wanna see the students i taught right & correctly. Please you guys that's all im asking. okay? Let me see a change Period 2!

Welcome Dance DJ! ^___^

Heey guys! In 3 weeks my school is having a welcome dance for the students to come to have fun with their friends, dance & just hang. Also this event is for the students to have for the beginning of the school year. The event is after school for both 7th & 8th graders. So you all know that at a dance there's people, dancing........Wait...What about the music? Thats why im writing this post is to be the DJ for the dance! (: If your gonna dance dont you think you need music? That be a good idea. (: Being a DJ isn't easy. Not anyone can just walk on stage and take over the job. Its a tough job from my perspective. You have to control the music, control the lights, control the fog machine & not make mistakes. Sounds hard? 0_o its gonna be a tough job but i think i can handle this. If one of the old leadership could do it, i know i can. I would make a good DJ because i can work with equipment & electronics very well.Also if i did the music i could pick out the music which the students at my school like. If i practice a lot then when the dance comes i would be Professional! But i would have to focus and follow directions but ayee, practice makes perfect. I think being a DJ would be a good opportunity to do for the school. My teacher told me that i have to learn how to work the DJ board. i think i can get all the buttons down by the dance im a fast learner and i absorb things quickly in my head. This job is gonna be hard but i'm ready for the challenge! Bring it on! (: "Challenge Accepted" ^__^

Summer is coming to an END! -__-

Well summer is over in 3 hours. Summer went by really fast! 0_o Now that summer is done we have to start getting up early and going sleep early too! Thats a sad life right there! (: But this summer was fun. I had no drama with anyone! Which is good! haha but i dont actually start school tomorrow. The 7th graders start tomorrow. Then the 8th graders start on tuesday! But i have to work so i gotta go school tomorrow! (: haha this is my last year in middle school so this year im gonna make it count! (: Yeauh. Summer 2011_4 (: Leadership_2

Well we made it through schedule pick-up but we had a couple bumps on the way. One problem was that we were missing 1 person, which is a problem for them & us because when she comes back she wont know what happen or how to do it. Another problem is that 2 of our boys was playing around which got them in trouble. But anyways we've worked really hard. We was there the whole day which i came home dragging myself. I seen alot of my friends when i did my 2 jobs! (: Which was great! haha lol! Well i just wanted to update you guys about schdeule pick-up! (:

Summer 2011_3 ^_^

Heey i haven't been updating my blog lately because i have been so busy with Leadership & personal things. We've been having leadership workdays since the beginning of July which was good because we had the whole June to ourselves. The new leadership is getting along really we'll with the 4 of us (: They haven't got the hang of things but they will get it soon. So far we have (3)7th graders & (6)8th graders. Some of the new leadership is very shy & very quiet but we plan to shake them up so they become more active & be better at leading people. Tomorrow we are having Schedule pick up for the students attending & coming back to Ilima can pick up there schedule, planner, pay dues, pay yearbook, pay lunch, get their ID's & Get their uniforms! Its gonna be a busy day tomorrow. We have to come extra early to set up & get ready. But the 4 old leadership students are use to this, but we hope that the new leadership can step it up tomorrow & work even x2 as harder. These past weeks have been tiring but it was worth it because of the hard work we did is gonna make a difference for the students, We are going to open up a room called "Student Center" which is where student's can come in & work on projects or do their homework in their. Also we have another room which is a lounge. We play music in their while students can come in and play games. This year we are inserting a TV in that room so they can play games & many more stuff. So now all the hard work we did for schedule pick up has been done & next we move on to the harder task! Wish us Leadership Luck ^__^

Summer Part 2

Well im still sick. Which is bad for me because i dont wanna be sick during the whole summer. But we had leadership meeting so i went even though i was sick. We planned about our leadership field trip either to sleep over a hotel, Rascals Fun, Restaurant or Picnic? haha many choices but the thing is money so we planned to fund raise. Hahaha so thats going good.  Also during the summer i slept over my cousins house even though i was sick! haha lol! Well im just keeping update on my summer. So im gonna go now! Bye! ;)

Well for my starting of my summer, Im........................................................SICK! ':| Blah not a way i planned to start my summer! i hope i get better soon! because i dont wanna be sick all the way! ;P but im gonna have a pretty good summer because 1)im going to school: not that much kids are excited to go school in the summer but im not going school to learn im going school to hang out with my friends && my teacher! its fun hanging out over there because home is boring! 2)my cousin is coming down for a visit, last summer she came down for a first time but we had a huge fight it was BIG! but i promised her a great summer this year! & it will come true! ;) 3) SLEEP! ;) Ouu' yes thats my always to do during summer thing sleep! hhaha i love to sleep && also i love to eat && i love to shop, well you get the idea! hhaha lol :P well im gonna go beacause im feeling lil' bit dizzy! so yeah! have a great && safe summer guys. i'll keep posting as the summer goes by! ;) Aloha! ;)

2011 Summer! Come @ me!;)

Summer is finally here! I'm gonna take advantage of this because after this its back to waking up early && going to school doing work && learning! This summer i plan on doing school shopping && sleeping in June && Leadership work days in July! I'm gonna sleep in as long as i can! & Work my butt of in July because i wanna be a good role model for the new leadership students! ;) This summer is gonna be one of my favorite memories! The good thing about me in the summer is that im gonna be active alot so im not gonna be on the couch or in bed everyday! atleast im out of the house doing something! ;) well yeah! thats what i plan on doing in the summer! Thunder && Lightning In Oahu

It was a cold gray morning! I woke up to the sound of thunder && the lightning. Also i woke up to the cold air in the room! When i heard the thunder i got startled a little bit by it didn't phase me. I woke up at 11:00AM thinking it was 9:00AM because it was soo gray the sky. But when i was in the room i hear a very loud crash. I never heard lightning that loud before! && when my aunty came by us she said that the lightning flew across the sky && hit the water which was the cause of the loud crash! i was very scared that i flew from one side of the room on to the bed. That was an interesting moment we had this afternoon! ;) You gotta love Hawaii ;)

Activity 7 – Internet safety

How i know about internet safety is from my parents, teachers and the website im on. I learned internet safety by my paretns by them telling me what and what not to put on facebook and other websites i use. I learn by teachers telling me not to give or put my personal information. Also i learn by the websites is because when you create a website you have to read the safety policy and to follow all rules so i make sure to read them no matter what.

Activity 3 – Learning time

Lesson Outside Of School: The World Can Be A Scary Place.
How did you learn it? I learned it by going out into the world and seeing all the scary things and people outside of the world. There is many murders and dangerous things out there. Also dangerous people and things they do like doing drugs and not following laws. Its a tough world here. But its also filled with the non-scary people. The people who do the right thing.
Why is it important to you? Why this lesson is important to me because if i didnt know that the world is a scary place then i COULD be doing the wrong things with the wrong people but that i know im not doing the wrong things with the wrong people. If everybody didnt know this lesson then the entire world with be dangerous.
Who or what taught you about it? What taught me this was having a life experiense not with me but with one of my family member. He did the wrong things with the wrong people and ended up with the wrong people. Which made him part of the scary people. I was terrified of him that i would never be around him but he got BIG help and is doing better than before which made me think of this life lesson.
How has this learning helped you in your life? This learning has helped me in my life by knowing the scary people and the scary world. Its giving me a warning that when i go into the world i watch my back and also watch the people i love. Its important for people to know this lesson.

Challenge 6- Activity 1 – It’s a testing time

 Topic: Mobile phones should be used in classrooms
 I think that mobile phones should be used in classrooms. Why i think that is because what if a student has bad grades instead of using the teachers class phone when you can bring out your phone and call your parents. Also we should have mobile phones to use it for like Calculators or alarms when the class is gonna finish. Like for example if your in math class and you cant figure out a problem in your head then you bring out a calculator. Also when you wanna know when the bell is gonna ring then you set your alarm, then when it rings you know when the class is gonna finish. Also phones can be used to communicate with the other students in different class rooms to like ask them whens their next class. But i rule that i think is that if students cant have their phones out then teachers can. Thats why i think phones should be used in classrooms.

One day me and my family went out to sea to go fishing and to go diving. I was just about to snap a picture when these crazy waves just started pounding against the boat like crazy animals. I was scared at first but then it got funner after. As you can see in the picture there is a lady laughing with me which was fun. Also the other two people is trying to sail us out of the madness! I really enjoyed this adventure and im glad i have a memory of it because it was really fun next time i'll bring my recorder to record us on the boat!

 I would recommend her to visit our school and our beaches. I would recommend her to visit my school because our school is the best and our leadership class is great and very important to the school.  Users of the internet should be using tags and categories whenever we leave a footprint on the web because when someone is looking at your blog you dont want them getting lost or mixed up. You want them to be reading the right things.

 Users are asked to tag when they upload pictures like when you put a picture and you have other people in the picture you can tag the peoples names in the picture so people know who is who.

 Categories and tags are important when writing posts because if you don't say what the post is about the people reading your post isn't gonna understand what your writing about or what your saying. And if you dont tag where the picture was taken or who is in the picture people wont understand

 You find tags in photos like if you look at a photo you would see DSC____. You also tag people in photos to show people who is in the photo. You also tag people in your wrting or status. Like for example on facebook you can  tag someones name in your status.

 

Orientaion

My school had an orientation for 6th graders to get them ready for middle school. When i went to orientation when i was a 6th grader i was so nervous to go to middle school because there is so many rules and a lot of information to remember! And plus i wasn't use to walking around a big campus! I really hope orientation helped the 6th graders get an idea of what they are gonna be going through in 4 months. I know i was. I thought it was fun to perform and talk to the future 7th graders. I hope they get a great 1st day and that they wont get lost like hoe i almost did. And i hope that they use the information we gave them if they get into any trouble.

This morning!

i slept over my cousins house for the 4day weekend! and when i woke up monday morning i walked past a mirror and noticed my eyebrows looked off! So i asked my cousin what happend! and she said i plucked one side while you were sleeping! and i was like "WHAT" i wanted to kill her but i thought it was funny! and she know i hate plucking! haha so she had to plucked them even which reallly hurt! next time im gonna bring a shaver to shave her eyebrows haha!

Japan Update!

Well i heard on the news that they found Radiation in Japans water and in their soil. I heard Hawaii found some radiation but not dangerous radiation! On Saturday at 8:30 me and my cousin turned off the lights dedicated to Japan! If i hear anything else ill update you guys! I ♥ Japan

Earth Hour

On Saturday March 26, 2011 at 8:30 around the globe people will turn off their lights for Japan because of what they are goinh through. How Am I Gonna Take Part In This? When i showed my mom this she thought it was a good idea, so now at 8:30 we are gonna turn off our lights to feel what Japan is feeling right now because we are feeling reallt bad that we cant do anything tell help with right now! i thought this was a good idea! So at 8:30 peoples lights will be off dedicated to Japan.

Leadership Qualities

Do you know what it takes to be a leader? If you wanna be a leader you have to have the leadership qualities. You have to be caring to your peers, teachers, and to yourself. You have to be strong to take hard challenges like for me i have to focus on my classes, AR goal(Reading), leadership jobs, friends, & having fun. But im strong enough that i can handle all of this. You have to accept who you work with, what you have to do & the work you get. You get put into groups that you work with for the rest of the school year. You work with both 8th and 7th graders. You have to have a good relationship with your leadership teacher which i always do. Everyday we have jobs that we do for grades. We have Music, ID's, After school sales, Lounge, & TV. The jobs are very fun to do but sometimes it can get challenging. We get work that students in our school dont get to do like we made website which we put our homework on there & a Blog that we post about school & Environment. Another quality is that you have to stand strong and face the older kids. When i went to my leadership interview my teacher said that at this school the older kids wont listen to you and i was like "oh no" but i had the strength to stand up to the 8th grade boys and they listened. Another quality that is important to me is to Be Yourself. Nobody likes a leader that tries to be someone else they're not they want someone that is themselves. Thats the qualities a leader needs.

Today was an OKAY day for me. So my cousin started school at Ilima so that was a good thing and soo to my periods of the day.....
PERIOD 6: Watched a video called "Animals are beautiful people" which was very humorous and cool
PERIOD 1: Re-visited our vision board and revised our visions. We did a tree map on NPR
PERIOD 2: We took a 2 part test on comprehension and Vocabulary
PERIOD 3: We read and did a practice test on maps
Yeah so todays wasnt that bad but it was OKAY!

Japan

They said that in 5 years Hawaiis shorelines will be seeing Japans trash from the tsunami. And because of the people missing its a possible chance that the waves took them which might bring them to Hawaii which is very sad, gross, & disturbing. I really dont wanna see dead bodies on your beaches! D; Its sad and scary just to think about it! Im feeling really bad for Japan because some people aint doing anything to help or try to help Japan like donating money when they see a fundraiser for Japans red cross. UH Manoa had a event on Thursday 1 week from Japan having the earthquake. So they had a light circle that at the exact same time the earthquake hit they opened there phones as there light. I wish i could have gone but me and my family only new last minute so we didnt go.They also had a block party and restaurant row for adults and children. I wanted to go to that but i wasnt feeling good. And also they have having a Kokua For Japan but they aint selling tickets anymore :O Sucks! ahhh! but atleast they are having things and events for Japan instead of doing nothing!

What i heard on the news

I heard that over 4,000 people dead and 900 missing or not found......i also heard the they had to evacuate people 15 miles away  from the Japan Nuclear power plant because of radiation. And i heard that a surfer from Hawaii died in Cali..He was a PRO surfer..his name was Sion. Also there was a tree that crashed into a city bus on the Pali with me and my friends were on the same day but not the exact bus that got damaged. After hearing the disaster in the Pacific and the dangers and deaths im feeling less safe now days! But everyday i keep my eyes wide open for anything

Japan has been through alot of things.....
1.Earthquake
2.Tsunami
3.Radiation
4.Familys cant keep in touch
5.Before: Japan was a nice green place After: Japan is covered with water and looks brown & empty
Im feeling very sorry and sad that only some people are doing something to help Japan...and im glad that some people got to come back to there hometown Hawaii to be with their family's once again

Tomorrow me and my friends are going to Glow putt at windward mall! So yeah...im trying to find clothes to wear! haha lol and im charging my camera and phone :D

I'm feeling very sad for Japan.
1.They had a 8.9 Earthquake
Followed by a...
2.Tsunami that destroyed everything in its path
which also damaged....
3.A power plant, which there no power
which causes.......
4.Radiation to soar at Japans nuclear plant
which makes people lock themselves indoors
all these disasters all sum up too.....
5.Many people on the streets and dead

Tsunami Warning in Hawaii

It first started with a watch....Then it changed to Warning......everyone was rushing and panicking even though they werent in the evacuation zone. The people that didnt need to evacuate should of stayed home and not crowed the streets, stores and gas station.It was so crowded that when we went to get gas the lines were so long we didnt even get gas! Some of my friends evacuated but we didn't....i dont know why we didn't....i got ready but then after i was watching the news i fell asleep and woke up at 3 again to watch the tsunami on the news. When we were watching the news we seen the water receded far that you can see the reef clear, then small waves can in and covered the reef! We packed blankets, water, cameras, laptops, phones, clothes, important paper. But we didnt have to evacuate so thats good but they said we are still in Warning...so im just gonna leave my bags packed and ready! Whats really making me mad and getting kind of paranoid is that people are saying we are gonna die! We arnt gonna die! Anyways so yeah! We are just sitting and waiting if we have to evacuate or be prepared!

Tsunami Watch in Hawaii

Okay.....So im on facebook and i see this post from my friend saying there is a tsunami watch.....and im like Ughh! not again....So i turn on the news and i see the earthquake on the news it was a earthquake in Japan a 8.9....i was watching the news and it showed the tsunami in Japan....its flooded alot of land......they said that Hawaii will be affected at 3:00 AM.......So now we are just getting prepared like setting our clothes down so that if we have to evacuate we can just grab and run....so we layed our clothes our, we make sure everything is charged phones......im gonna set my alarm just in case it does affect us......But i dont think im gonna sleep just like last tsunami was 2009 i didnt sleep at all because i was too scared and i never gone through this kind of disaster.....but im relaxed right now.......but i really hope that the tsunami warning alarms work this time because last time we couldn't hear it that good, so i hope the works got that fixed. Last time we had the tsunami warning it was expected at 11:28Am. My family went to Millilani Walmart. They expected big waves but we only got small kind waves....so thats good. But i hope this tsunami watch doesn't cause too much to us!

My personal thoughts on how we turn in assignments in leadership

What i think about turning in assignments on my website and blogger is that its another good way to show our work we did in class. Its more interesting to others and to us. I would rather turn in work by using my website and blogger instead of handing in our work. its more easier to turn in work on my website and blogger because its more fun and new to me and others. Making websites and bloggers to turn in work should be done more often. Its another opportunity to turn in your work.

how do you feel about incorperating technology into all of my classes

i feel that's a great idea. Adding technology in classrooms would be another way for students  to learn and do their homework more. Using Technology is a good way to help you with something
