Week April 30- May 4

Its the last Monday of April! Oomg, the quarter is going by fast I can't even keep up with it. This week I got sick on Tuesday I had a really high fever the night of Monday and never go school Tuesday because I couldn't even sit up.I stayed home and been bored but at home I was reading Hunger Games! i just seen it on the floor so i started reading it. Then Wednesday came and it was the day of Curriculum night! I went even though I never go school because I didn't want to miss out on my last curriculum night! So me and my mom went and when I was waiting for my mom my eye got fat and ugly. So i had to wear sunglasses because I think i had an allergic reaction. Then the next morning it got worse but I went to school even though i came right when the bell rang! That week was so craazy and I missed so much stuff but I got back on Track. At least i got sick before my trip because I want to have fun and not be sick during the trip. Friday was another work day just to get closer to my 4.0. I'm right there just gotta turn in papers and I'm all good! ^----^ The school year is coming to an end soon and I'm making everythin count no matter what it is. I'm really nervous knowing that the school year is going to end. It still feels like im still in 1st quarter! But this school year just zoomed pass me! Banquet is coming up next week so we are planning on that. This years banquet is going to rock because the Theme is "Once Upon A Time!" and there is going to be a court! With a King, Queen, Prince, Princess and Princess! Its going to be fun and its going to be our last middle school banquet! I'm really looking foward to this banquet. Plus my mom is making my dress, my aunty is going my eyebrows and my cousin is doing my nails! ^___^ My dress is zebra, red and black! Pretty yeauh! :) I can't wait until next week! :)))))))))

Week April 23-27

Thiis week was so long and so sore because there was so much running this week and so much stuff happening. On Monday it was just a regular day, there was odd periods. When we came back our fish was so dirty it was discussing. So we had to clean it! xD lolol Today was all about raising up my grades because I need the 4.0 and I'm almost there. But on Monday i was supper hyper because on Sunday i took a long and very lovely nap because I was so tired. And the next day I was up all hyper and energetic. It felt good because I wasn't dragging myself to school. ;P On Tuesday came track practice because on Friday there is a track meet and Waipahu High school. We did running and running when I came home i was so sore and so tired. The next day I felt the pain in my legs because I didn't stretch very good! xP Thursday was track practice again and I had HSA for English so that was boring but I increased a lot in my points. I'm satisfied but i think i could of done better. But i still got high school left. And finally Friday came! I was so excited because last year I was in the track team but I didn't go because I have no reason why. And we would of won last year but we just needed a 7th grade girl -____- Wonderful! LOL but this year we got 6th place out of 8 schools and Ewa Makai took 1st place. Ugggh WHATEVER! But anyways school is coming to an end so we 8th graders have to enjoy as much as we can because by the time we know it we are graduating and summer is already here. By the way for summer i'm going to Las Vegas and Los Angeles! ^---^ I'm so excited but I'm going to miss Ilima very much. I'm going to miss the people, teachers and just being at the school because there is so much memories there that I can never forget! :) I really want to make the last month in school count because time goes by fast. And we don't have ALL the time in the world. So its time for me to make every second, every minute and every day count! If i don't them im going to regret it in the end. I can't wait for graduation but I don't want to leave. Its going to be hard to go to  a new school and meet new people and new things. Its a hard change but I'll always come back to my middle school! Like people say "Don't be sad because its over, be happy because it happened! ^---^ Lets make every memory count! :)

April 16-20

Well its a new week and it went slooow! Maybe it was because we had orientation and all the other stuff. On Monday was on okay day. I had my nap period but I didn't get to nap because during that class period we was playing a game. Then we practiced for Orientation which was on Tuesday and Thursday. Also today I studied so i could bring up my grades. Then Tuesday was the first 6th grade Orientation which was Holomoua.I was nervous but I got over it. It was fun talking to the students, showing them the tour of our school and getting to know them better. It sucks that I won't be at school with them but its okay I believe that they can handle if us 8th graders could they can. We missed period 1 so tomorrow during our leadership period we have to go make up the time. Also tonight it the parent night Orientation. Then after school we had LDSC. I just went for the food. LOL xP But it was alright listening to other schools report whats happening in there school. But this one school said Less sport activities and more brainy one. Like really? Hello in order to play sports you have to at least have a brain. Duuh, and plus health is important too. Anyways then we came back to school and was laying on the tables. Then all of a sudden my ear drums start hurting because someone decided to blast an air horn in the room. Then he tried to lock us in the office. Then he shoots us with slingy string. We tried to fight back but he made his "stories" again. LOL. Then when the parent night came there was only like 8 parents including my mom. I was disappointed because there is like no reason to talk for the parents but I got to talk. When we was waiting to start I seen my mom talking to Mr.Ing and i was thinking "Ooomg" but they knew that i would start freaking out. But they was talking about something so whatever. lol. Then Wednesday came and we just made up our work we missed and that day was good. Plus i had dance and i was tired. And it was the Honor Roll Night but i couldn't go because I had practice. Then Thursday came the last day of Orientation. Kaimiloa, Pohakea, Iroquois point, and Ewa Beach elementary school came. When Kaimiloa came i was excited beause that was my home school. I seen all my 6th grade teachers and some 6th graders i knew. They are going to be a small generation. Anyways i was way more nervous than Tuesday because there was way more 6th graders and I like them because they was energetic and fun. It started raining so we had to speed up on the tour. I enjoyed this Orientation because I had more fun. Then after school Me and Jolene went Genkis which was fun because I never went there and I had no idea what I was doing. LOL Also we even went to buy period 2 a fish. Now the 3 periods have a fish. Period 6 name is Bambi. Period 4 name is Fifi. And period 2 is Honulani! :) I named our fish and I wanted to have like a Hawaiian name. Plus I liked the name Honu and Lani is part of my hawaiian name. Then the parent night came there was more than Tuesdays parent night so it was okay. Then Friday came, I forgot to turn on my Alarm clock the night before and I didn't wake up so my mom had to wake me up and when I woke up I felt sick and dizzzy. So i stayed home which was boring so I read my Hunger Games book. Now i have to Reading Catching Fire. This week was long and tiring! Hopefully the next week goes waay faster! Fingers crossed :)

This week!

This week went pretty good. With Orientation coming up next week this week went pretty smooth and not so much problems. Just couple bumps on the way but it was fixed so that next week we could have an even better week because the school year is coming to an end and theres no room for people to be having problems and being mad at each other we have to use this time wisely because after this, thats it. With Graduation and Banquet there isn't time to be wasting. This is the last year for us 8th graders, its not so bad for the 7th graders beause they have one more year left. I'm trying to get my grades up but AVID is in my way. Like i have a 89 and thats a B. I need ALL A'S cause i want to get atleast a 4.0 in my middle school years. But it mostly matters in high school because thats what mostly colleges look at is the high school grades. Well thats what i think. This week went so slow. Like it took FOREVER for Friday to final come. Today we had Career day at our school. What wasnt fair this year is that the 7th graders got to do career day with the 8th graders when its only suppose to be us 8th graders, but anyways i had to host Realtors i had to listen to them talk for 2 sesions. And it was interesting the 1st sesion because i didn't know all the information then the second one i was so bored i like wanted to braid my hair(Which i actually did). But atleast i got to see one of the careers better than nothing. This week has been really hot. Like really really hot. It was so cloudy but SO HOT! Maybe theres vog. I dunno. Next week Tuesday is already Orientation. I think Orientation is the most funniest thing because we get to meet the Future 7th graders and like its just fun explaining stuff to them and showing our school. We are here to help them make there 7th grade year easy because coming to a new school is hard and scary. But when you get help and learn its not that bad. Hopefully this week goes better and hope its goes FASTER! because im tired. LOL x)

April 2-5 ^---^

This week is going to be short because there is no school on Friday because its "Good Friday." Its sort of a religious thing so yeah. Anyways this week went fast but long. There was so much work with all my classes this week. Like every class i had there was homework. I couldnʻt even remember all the work i had.  Some times i forget to do my work and it just makes me go nuts. This week i had HSA and my score was like 263 of science. I went down from my first try but thats pretty good for science HSA. I didnʻt even know there was an HSA for science i thought it was only Math and Reading. Also we had Orientation practice every morning because orientation is in two weeks and everything had to be ready to go. In math we did math work by listening to "Look at me now" and "The Motto" so that we could figure out who raps the fastest. The fastest rapper is Busta Rhymes but Chris Brown is only like two syllables away. Thats not a far way to get. I learned it doesn't matter on how long the rapper raps. It dependes  on there words. On how long or big the words are and how much syllables are in the word. For social studies we are watching a video called "Uncle Toms Cabin." We are learning about the civil war and about slaves. This week was fast cause there was so much work and i didnʻt even pay attention to the long school days. Also had track this week but i never go because i donʻt wanna run and plus I'm busy. I hope next week goes way better. But the week after that there is orientation so its gonna be busy. Okaaay byeeee byeeeee! ^----^

March 27-30!

This week had been crazy. All week i was practicing my speech for AVID. We had to remember the Gettysburg address which was pointless because its like a level 1 assignment because all we have to do is remember the speech then recite it. Like how is this speech gonna help us in the future. I know that we are practicing our speaking skills but i donʻt need that because i have leadership and all we do is speaking in larger crowds than our AVID class. But all week i practiced speaking over and over again. I was irritating the person that was helping me because everyday of every break i had i would practice it. I still remember it now. Let me recite it for you.... "The Gettysburg address was the most famous speech of U.S president abraham lincoln and the most quoted speeches in Untied States History. It was delivered at the dedication of the Soldiers national cemetery during the American Civil war. Four and a half months after the Union armies defeated those of the Confederacy at the decisive battle of Gettysburg. Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth this continent, a new nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure. We are met on a great battle field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who gave there lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. LOL so that was my speech. Thats how my week went. Everyday i said this over and over. Imagine how crazy you would get listening to me saying it. ;p

March 19-23 2012

This is the first week from spring break. My spring break sucked because i never even slept that long. I woke up like a regular school day and did nothing besides clean. Anyways, it our first week back in the 4th quarter and iʻm planning on getting straight Aʻs. Well iʻm "planning" too. This week was F to the A BLOUS! Yeauh yeah! LOL. IT was fun there was no problems, everyone was having fun. We got work done. Everything is running smoothly. Its just orientation thats crazy. Orientation is when us leadership students talk to 6th graders about there first year in Middle school. It gets pretty tense moving to a new school. But no worries thats why we are here. This quarter I'm planning on doing extra hard in my classes especially social studies because thats my hardest subject. English is my easiest subject even though i barely listen to the teacher because he's boring and he is just weird. Like he gives us breath mints and rubs his butt all over our desk. DISGUSTING! *____* But yeah this quarter is my 4.0 quarter. Iʻm gonna try my best. This quarter is where we have banquet and 8th grade graduation. Banquet is fun but this year we have the 7th graders with us and they get to come to the night time one. Last year when we was 7th graders we have a Luncheon. It was during the school day. Thats not fair, we had a lame thing last year and they get to come with us. -______- People now days, But banquet is fun because we get to dress up in nice clothes and have funs with friends. Then theres graduation. I'm really excited for this because its fun and our parents get to see our achievements. This week was really great. Lets hope for a next good week until the last day of school ^----^

Third Quarter.

Third quarter is finally over and we got one more quarter to go then...I am out of here! Third quarter had so many things happening it was just craazy. Some things happened to people and things. I never thought this quarter would be like this. This quarter was interesting because i got to see a better view of things and how it works. Im glad certain stuff happened in this quarter because if it didn't happen then some of us would be in some deep ****! Some things that happened to me this quarter was unexpected i was caught in some strong wind, lots of work and unexpected people. This quarter i learned this thing i called "The Ripple Effect." You know when you throw rock into a calm & relaxed water you get ripples that get bigger and move farther away from its starting point. I seen this Ripple effect and it just irritated me. But thats just how "Things" are. This quarter had pushed me so far and so hard with things, that i hope this next and final quarter is a little bit and relaxing because this is the last quarter for us 8th graders and we want to enjoy it because third quarter just flew. No one knows where it went, it just moved to fast for us. Some people complain about school, but what i'm experiencing is that it moves really fast and when you don't pay attention to it, its not gonna be there anymore and your going to regret it. This quarter had so many activities like Spring Fling, Graduation Picture taking, Bowling and many more that i can't remember xD Anyways, I'm very excited for the Fourth quarter because this is the quarter for all us 8th graders to start getting ourselves to together and open our eyes and see whats infront of us now before were too late and its already behind us. Some of us need to spread out from the people that we always, or normally talk to we need to be more open to others because middle school is ending and when you get to highschool you never know that the people you thought would be there by your side through thick and through, blah blah blah....They won't be there and because you didn't be open to others you won't have anyone else.Anything could happen. Thats why Fourth quarter is the quarter to start. Third quarter taught me so many things, and i have a feeling that Fourth quarter is gonna hit me hard that i won't ever forget it! ^--^

Week 3-8

  This week is finally over and spring break is beginning ! This break isn't that long but atleast we have a break ! This week started off pretty wet.
  On Monday we were suppose to go on our AVID field trip but since it was raining it was cancelled and pushed off until 4th quarter. I was looking foward to the field trip but it got cancelled so we had to go to our classes. We started that day off with period 2, my leadership class so i could relax in that class. We got started on some Graduation Picture taking things and finished our orientation banners. The rest of the day pretty much sucked because we had a lock down during Wiki because of the rain but we had to go to our regular classes. I wanted to be locked in homeroom the entire day so we didn't have to do work, we could just chill and relax.
  Tuesday was our Graduation Picture taking and the first day of picture taking. In the morning i was brushing and brushing my hair because i didn't want my hair to look messy in my picture. All i care about is my hair! xD Its the most important thing on my head! ^--^ After i took my picture i was complaining about my picture because i thought my hair was messed up but when i looked at it, it was nice x) atleast i'm satisfied ;p Then comes the other classes taking pictures, i stayed for the entire periods of the day but we all had to go back to class for the last half of the period. 2 out of the 3 classes that came down were very good, they did what they had to do and made things go smooth, the one class that came down for all the periods was mostly the troublemaking class. They was so irritating i wanted to go craazy on them. It was raining so it was difficult to walk to the cafe without getting people wet because we don't want people wet in there pictures, its gonna make them look all nasty & its gonna make the clothes wet. Tuesday went by fast and simple.
  Wednesday was the last day of picture taking , FINALLY! The one class that would always make trouble didn't cause any problems in the last period i think. The rest of that class was just craazy i was like |--| <-- That close to slapping them but i didn't. GOOD JOB SHAYNA! ^--^ Anyways when we finished the last class of picture taking i was relieved. Like yesss this is done! Wednesday we ended with period 2 which was good. When we got back to class we was playing OMGPOP which was funny. OMGPOP is a really fun website, you guys should make an account and add me(OMGitsSHAYNA) ;) Yeah that day was pretty funny! ^--^
  And lastly Thurday, this day was just FABULOUS! Wanna know why? Cause it was my BIRTHDAY! ;D Well sorta my birthday because since we didn't have school on Friday we sorta put my birthday on Thurday! xD The day went by nice and fun. We got our Spring Buckets on that day too. It was interesting reading peoples items because some people said some stuff on there that made me really think. In the morning i got lied to by our teacher because he said that he got me something furry but i went into the office and i found Elmo balloons. He tricked me because he was getting me back for lying on his birthday because i said that i was too sick to come to school but i was actually sick but i came anyways because im nice like that! :) LOL afterschool was fun too, i had hard time walking home because i had so much balloons, posters and my spring bucket that i couldn't carry it all so i made my friend carry all that and i carried my balloons and when i was walking the wind was pushing me so i had hard time walking so i told my dad is pick my up xD The day ended nice and GREEAT! A good way to start the spring break!
  This week was greeat, i even broke some rules this week. I'm not suppose to eat meat and candy but because im a bangah i ate meat and candy! You mad? Stay mad! :) Bangah out...!

Week of Feb 27- March 2

This week was okaay, i guess i can say that. This week was the leap year week, which sucks is that i missed school on Wednesday because i had MEAN stomach pains and i just couldn't handle it and plus it was on the day of the leap year day! Wonderful way to spend my extra day. Plus this week sucked because my doctor put me on a diet for my stomach so all i could eat was fruits and vegetable. No meats, soda or candy! Sad Life, i thought i was gonna die! This week was mostly planning stuff and getting stuff ready like Graduation picture taking, Orientation practice. We are getting ready for 6th grade orientation which is in April. Then graduation picture taking which is next week. Ooh, gosh help us! This week went pretty fast it was crazy like the days went by fast and the school hours went fast too. Ooh yeah and we had HSA this week and i finished it in one day and got 300 xD Haha, i just passed! Im so beast! I got a C for HSA! LOL. This week was like partly a blur but some parts i remembered. This week was really boring too because Friday night went to the doctors waiting for hours, then ending up staying over night, then went home in the morning which i slept all day. Then woke up on Sunday very confused on what day it was, then going to church which i was loosing focus on the drums, then going to another church for 3 hours, sitting down listening to a guy speak the same thing over and over again, then went to Walmart to find my spring bucket item then go home and do homework! OOMG! Pretty craazy week, now lets get ready for next week. Which is Graduation picture taking, and SOMEONES birthday! Ahem Ahem**

Spring Bucket Item! ^--^

So Spring is around the corner & so is SOMEONES birthday! *Ahem, But anyways we have an activity to go with spring. Its called "Spring Bucket." We aren't gonna call it "Easter Basket" because that is sort of a religious thing, so we are just calling it spring! As you can see in this picture my item is "Fun Dip!" Ooh, yess! And behind the "Fun Dip" is a fabulous model! Ooh, yess you work it giirl! ^---^ Anyways, we had to pick an item that best describes our personality. Literally this item describes that i'm fun to be around and we all know that already so we can move on! (: But symbolically what my items means is that it represents things. The candy stick is me and the tasty flavored sugar is the  people around me. When you stick the candy stick in the sugar it sticks to it and stays on. When you stick me in a group of people they hold on to me or they stay by my side because my personality attracts them. I can't really describe what my personality means but on my short paragraph i call it "Shayna." My personality is called "Shayna." My personality is very unique, you won't find anybody thats like me. You can try but your gonna end up giving up because there is no one! I like my personality even though i have no words to describe it. This activity is gonna help us get to know others more personality more better. I'm going to enjoy reading there paragraph so i can get to know peoples personality! This is gonna be fun! (:

Spring Flanglang!

Spring fling finally came and went. This activity was the most craziest because 1.An awesome chairperson was in charge(ahem* Shayna ^--^) & 2. There was so much stuff to plan, it was unreal! But from my perspective i thought this activity turned out well. It would of been "epic" but there was some bumps along the way. There was some troubles with the mixer, couple things not in order and just people just standing around. But when you put me in charge i make sure they are doing something. I was doing more stuff than them even though i had a sprained ankle. Okaay, so lets start from the beginning of this activity. So on the day of the event, I walked in the classroom and i was asked questions, answering questions and being told stuff. "Good morning to you too!" x) LOL. Jkaay! Then as the day went by things went not so smooth. Like during lunch we had to pass out wristbands, so i put two teams in charge, but they weren't doing there job so our adviser had to do it. Plus 7th graders don't know how to stand in line! -___- Then tarps were missing but actually it was right in our face which was pretty dumb. Then came period 5...The set up team. It was me and like a few more people to help set up music equipment and decorate the cafe because i'm a decoration kind of person. So that kind of went smooth, it would of been flawless, but we was taking long time to set up. And finally...The Spring Fling came! It started off great, then....The mixer starting acting up. Like seriously! Now? Now your gonna do this? *___* I was so irritated because everytime "I" touched it, it starting acting up. "Like okaay, I don't like you either!" The funniest part about the spring fling is how during the game "Shayna Says" i said it in a funny way because it was like a tongue twister to i said "Shayna Shays" I didn't notice that i did that until i came to school and they told me. I was like "whaat?" Lol & they was laughing at me because of the way it sound! This dance was pretty fun because Shayna was in charge! ^---^ If noticed sooner enough to start doing stuff then the dance would of been "Off, the chain!" or however you guys say it! x) I'm so banggah! xD okaaay, bannger out! Dueces, my homies!!!!!! ^O^

Last Week!

This week was CRAAZYx2. Like this week had spring fling planning and the actual day of the spring fling. Then Friday was clean up and "Some" breathing time. This week was soo short but it was soo long. Okay on Tuesday was planning for spring fling. Making sure everything is ready and planned out. Everyone had to make posters, know what they are doing on Thursday just the basic planning. Then Wednesday was the major planning. I had to make sure we had all our supplies like prizes, juice, snacks, decoration, etc. Everything was intact but couple sutff was missing. Then comes Thursday. Ooh, boy that day couldn't come fast enough. Okay so during whatever time we had we was either getting things ready, setting up or making sure everything is in place. Plus we had to give wristbands out to the students. Lunch we handed out wristbands so they could get in. That kind of didn't go well because our teacher did it instead of the people i assigned. Then the tarps were missing so we was looking for it when it was right in our faces. Then for period 5 me and a few more people skipped class to help set up and decorate. We put up the tarps, balloons, tables, streamers. We had to set up the speakers. The spring fling finished and then came Friday. Friday was the clean up day just to put stuff away. This week was short but long. Ooh, yeah during all this i had a sprained ankle so that was my obstacle for this week, but im a strong person so i made it through without falling on my face :) Thumbs Up! :D And had a situation with my group about them not being able to say the bulliten good enough for people to understand, so we are getting some practivce on that! Yeah this week was pretty good. The week is done, Weekend coming through! ^--^ Party Animals.

Week 13-17

Well, the week is done & the weekend is in. This week has been a blur to me, like i dont even remember what happened. Just the same old same old, a regular week. But Friday was the day i started noticing something, but i'll talk about that when that day comes. On Monday went to school, did my thaang & yeah pretty solid day. I can't remember Tuesday, which is sad x) ooh, what I remember from this week is that i hit my head like so many times it was so irritating and creepy, because when i hit my head the first time, then i hit it a second time. Its craaazy, my head is like a bruised apple! -__- Lol, but its okay, it couldn't get worse. But anyways on Friday was an even period. So when i had my leadership period my teacher told me that spring fling was next week, then came the "Freaking Out!" I noticed that we have plenty stuff to do, set up and buy. It was unreal! i started making playlist, checking the mixer, putting everything in order. But what really sucked was that i couldn't plan during the LOOOONG weekened because i went camping which i'll talk about later. But it was just nuts, only know i noticed that spring fling was like 3 days away! Pretty nuts! During the very very loong weekened i went camping to sand island. I went on Friday right after school. What i hate about going somewhere after school is that im wearing my uniform....So other kids are looking at me because im wearing different uniform, like seriously theres more than one school on this island. But any ways, I'm a inside person so i don't really hang outside because i rather be inside on my phone, watching TV or on the computer...But when i went capming only cell phone which died. Soo, i used my dad's phone to go on facebook & twitter! ^---^ I did some fun stuff at the camp. Spent some time with my dad because i harldy see him. So we went snorking and we was looking and all kind fish and my dad was "Trying" to spear a fish but...He sucks xD We spent most of our time in the water. I also went fishing with my aunty. We was suppose to have water skies but  no more D; What really sucked at the camp was that i was the oldest kid so i hung out with my aunty. The rest of my time i was either eating, facebook, twitter, sleeping or swimimg! Fun stuff. Ooh, and when i came home i was un loading the car, my grandpa came and "accidently" slammed the trunk on my hard *___* #PainMode! Right there and then was the end of my week...

Intramurals Basketball

This week we had basketball intramurals, this is when homerooms come to the basketball court and challenge other homerooms. We dont keep score, it all depends on what we write down on the clipboards. The clip boards is the actually score but we score on sportsmanship, posters or props, even if the homeroom is in the box or not. We got the weed and seed officers to come referee, the students enjoy having them because they really donʻt get to play with Police Officers. But on friday we got new officers, but on friday i got to referee because we only got 2 officers and we needed 3. So that was fun. It was kind of weird because i was so small and the players were bigger than me. Then when they had to jump ball i had hard time throwing it because i was so short and they was so tall. It was pretty funny seeing the students play because they looked so weird and funny. They was screaming, some people didn't even know how to play. Basketball is the last intramurals of the year. Thaanks God! I hate standing in the hot sun, like i should of brought a umbrella LOLOL x) But anyways, thats how my intramurals went.

Last Week

This week has been very interesting, many things happened that i really donʻt wanna talk about. But anyways this week was pretty fun. We had intramurals for basketball, it was fun because i got to referee on the last day so that was pretty fun. I was a really small referee and the players were bigger than me it was pretty funny! I had hard time throwing the ball up in the air but i did it anyways. This week was interesting because of the events that happened this week. Like on Monday morning couple people came in and asked for there yellow card. I was pretty shocked because one of those people that asked was one of my 7th graders -_____- Then after that, it caused a ripple effect. Like when you throw a rock in the water it causes a ripple and the ripple gets bigger and bigger. Thats how this went to, more people started getting there yellow card but then our vice principle talked to them an denied there requests to change classes. So now they are back into the leadership room. It was pretty awkward but we gotta just move on and act like nothing happened. If i was them i would feel weird but we are trying our best not to make them feel that way because its gonna be kind of hard to work with them and we are feeling awkward. That is not a good mixture. NO NO NO! xD But anyways, i think this week was just full of surprises. I never thought last week would be like that. I was hoping for a fun week. But its okay next week should be better ^----^

The Blind Side

This week had finally ended, I have been waiting for this week to end since last week Sunday! ;P This week went pretty good for me, for some people not so good for them. This week was tough for some people. I never thought it would be these people. Like they was the group with no problems. They didn't get introuble, they never did things wrong. They was the good group. All of the groups are good bu t this one always knew what to do. Now they are getting yelled at, talking about stuff that isn't suppose to be talked about, doing things that don't relate to what we do in our class. They play jokes with others but sometimes they take it too far which is part of what brought them here. This week, i notice that when others get thrown under the bus the people that are on the side walk are just standing there being cool. Now its the othere way around, they are under the bus while the rest of us are standing there being cool. This isn't a good feeling, but they are finally feeling how I felt when I was in there situation, but my situation was different. I know that they don't like, I know that they feel like everyone is turned against them, I know that they are having thoughts about things. I know everything they are feeling, and I know they don't like it. Some of the people that are in this situation isn't even part of this, which is really sad because they are getting runned over for no reason. Now that this is happening, I notice that people change. On Friday, i was really torn when I seen these people change. I never thought these people had a side of them that looked so ugly and cruel. When i was in this situation i depended on these people. Now when they need help, I'm standing here waiting for them but I'm just waiting while cold air passes through me. I've been told about a plan thats going to occur. I'm really looking foward to this new plan beause this can show what the issue is. Plus i think its the best that we do this plan. Some people just need to break free and interact with other people. I really don't want this to happen to these people. I want this issue to stop and this image to change...soon "/

Last Week ^----^

Last week was a pretty good week. There was no problems, or issues with groups, just individual problems. This week was fun, the days started off nice and ended nice too. Had soccer this week. I figured out that I'm an aggressive player when it comes to playing against people. I was yelling and screaming and people and at the soccer ball too. My coach was just standing there laughing. But my leadership teacher said that if i did that he would kick me off the field xD ooh well its not my fault that i yell a lot. ;P This week went by fast, maybe it was because i was having too much fun :) When this week started i woke up and i had a thought about not going school, i donʻt know whats wrong with me but i donʻt like that feeling or that thought because i like to go to school. Im not having problems at school with anything or anybody. Its kind of weird. This week ended really well because on Friday we went bowling because there was no bowling team so leadership had to go. It was fun, because i kept getting gutter and everyone was looking at me like i donʻt know how to bowl. I know how I'm just not good at it. Me and two other girls was playing with the boys team but our score counted with the girls team. When we was going back to school i was feeling dizzy, tired and my forehead was getting warm. I got sick from something, i donʻt know maybe i ate something or what i have no idea. What if they poisoned me?! :O grrrrrrrr, lesson learned. Watch out what you eat from the bowling alley. They are witches ^O^ lolololol. Yeauh, so my week went great and it went fast too. Lets start the next week! ^_________________^

Spring Fling Flyers!

okaay, so our school is having a spring fling. Its an afterschool activity were students and teachers can come to have fun and relax. There are gonna be games, food & dancing & contest! ^O^ So since im in charge of that activity i made everyone in leadership make a flyer. I still never get some flyers, so LAAAAATEE! Ahh la, watch out! .___. ;P But any who. Some of the flyers I got were just, boring (myopinion, so don't hate) like if i seen those flyers i wouldn't even go to the spring fling. But some of the flyers i got are looking good. Those people took time to put "Imaaginaation" into it! ^---^ Period 4 had the nice flyers mostly (Another opinion, don't hate). Some flyers i just wanted to eat it! :# Now all we gotta finish is the banner and posters. Those posters should look nice with glitter on it. Too bad we couldn't get pink glitter that would of attracted more peoples. So now tomorrow people gotta put up there flyers in each of there teams teachers classroom. I should make people redo there flyer but whatever, let them not show "imagination." Some of the people wouldn't have imagination if a rainbow smacked them in the face! Some people wouldn't have imagination if a unicorn stabbed them with its horn. Some people wouldn't have imagination if spongebob was there bestfriend! I should show the people with no imagination my flyer, cause my flyer is greeat! ;P Im gonna put my flyer in one of my teachers class room too! ^---^ lolol, so yeah later i'll post the picture of my flyer cause i don't have the picture now! okaaay, yeah spring fling. Woooh, roock on! Wanna hear a rap? Well im gonna tell you anyways..okaay here i go, "I'm rocking those nike's like my uncle mikee!" ;p Trust me it sounds better in person! ;D kkbaaai!

Week 1-20

This week was just nuts. Like i never thought this week would be like this. The first 3 days of the week was great but the past 2 days have been like...EMOTIONAL. *ithink i spelt that correctly. This week has been like a roller coaster but the drop was very steep and scary. This week eveything was normal but as we got into the week we got into some problems. Like making one mistake, then coming back with 6 more mistakes. They just got tired of all the problems that period 2 had, that our teacher decided to hold a meeting to either keep us in or out. Based on performance our peers had to vote us in or out. Majority voted us out, but some voted us in. I was devastated when people voted out. But when I heard people voted us in I was relieved that those people aren't gonna give up on us just yet. Just because we make mistakes, doesn't mean that we aren't trying to learn from it. They say that we don't work as hard as the other groups, but my group has worked hard as everyone else. We tried our best like everyone else. We worked like everyone else. Okay my group may have some problems, but thats just how people are. Not everyone is perfect and can do perfect stuff. People make mistakes on the way, they can make a lot of mistakes too but then they are the ones that turn out to be the best. My group has never given up. I love my group i wouldn't trade them for someone else. I rather have them. People say that my group doesn't show that they want to be here or that they don't show that they are self directed learners, but they don't know my group like how I know them. They always tell me that they are glad to be here. They always try to solve problems even though we used that solution many times. Atleast they are trying to fix it. My group stands up for themselves and I stand up for them. They are my group, I taught them everything they learned and i showed them everything i learn. I am proud of what i taught them. I believe in them, and i think you should too. Just watch, period 2 is gonna rise from the grounds and prove to everyone what we've got.  

Week 1-13

Week one dash thirteen was a greeeat week. There was noo problems, well there was a few but they weren't as big as the other weeks. I thought this week was pretty good and smooth. If i think back to this week I cannot remember where there was a problem where it made either someone mad or irritated. Which is a good things. We all had lunch together, we had some bonding time this week which is good. Had some funny times, like when I grabbed my friends hand that was a girl but it wasn't meant like that. ;P But that was a funny moment cause our face was like "whaat?" lolol. During this week there was a lot of laughter and smiles. This week ended pretty good, me and another breathing person got introuble for not explaining things clearly, but that passes over. But this week ended fun. The morning started off fun because when we got to school we were playing black ops with our teacher and a couple of other breathing humans that are in leadership. It was a faail game because they was in the TV room, we got a text or a message from VIA saying that they was in the TV room but we never listen, we just ran around like monkeys looking for them, asking people if they seen people running around. I bet people thought we was like craazy. But it was fun. The day went out smooth too. This week I'm starting a new sport which is soccer. :) I was soo mad today cause i thought there was soccer so I wanted to practice today but no more. Sooo saad, but next week tuesday there is practice. Next week no more school on monday so threee daay weekend Bb! ^---^ I need to sleep like seriously. Im trying to get taller here but I have to wake up early so i'm cutting out my growing time. Booooo! But i'm learning new stuff, getting smarter everyday. I was reading like craazy this week too, but i read and interesting book it was about a girl, where her mom was queen of this planet that i don't know how to spell and yeah it was just about that and then she had to fight the bad aliens and then she saved earth or the planet with breathing human beings and breathing animals. My week was pretty solid and smooth. Now its time to do it again next weel! ^-----^ Breathing girl, named Shayna....Ouutt! >>:D

What change would I want to change? hmmm?

So our leadership teacher asked us to write a blog about what change would we want to change or remove. He even said that we can create a new change. But i'm not gonna add anymore, the 8 changes are good enough ;) So theee change that I would like to change is change #2 which is due dates through webgrader. How i would want to change that is to make sure that going and checking webgrader daily. Like I know that we are suppose to check it everyday to make sure we don't miss any due dates, but i mean that its mandatory for us to check it everyday. Also i think that everyday we show our parents our webgrader so our parents know how we are doing in school and if they have any questions about why some of us have bad grades we, our self can answer them right there and then. Im trying to get others in trouble if they have bad grades, im just making sure no one gets bad grades and doesn't get on probation because like i said it ain't fun! Plus if we change this change to checking webgrader daily some of our problems might just go away because everyone is doing what they are suppose to be doing and no one misses a due date because checking webgrader is mandatory. Some of us don't check webgrader every day, which causes problem. This change could help others change too. Naaaw meean? x) I'm trying to create problem solvers her but if some of us can't do that then...Geet soome heelp! Like professional help, cause if i can't help you then i have no idea! Pleease & Thank you! ;D  Take my advice people! ;P

Change #8 - - Late Notices From The Library

What this change means is that if we get a late book notice from the library saying that we have over due books we get put on probation. So now we gotta watch when our books are due so we don't get those slip thingys. This change applies to me because i turn in over due books alot because i don't realize how long i have a book checked out. But now its gonna stop, im gonna remember to turn in my books on time. The library gives out notices every 2 weeks. So i have to watch a week from now to turn in my books because i borrowed books last week so this week is week 1 already. So one more week to go. I dont wanna go on probation again. Others gotta watch too because last week most of us got the late books paper thingy. Plus we leadership kids shouldn't be even getting late notices from anyone. We are more responsible than that. We do more responsible things than that. So this job shouldn't be so hard for us. It should be easy. Just turn in books before the date that is stamped on the book. Simple stuff. So now you see, these changes all relate to each other. Once you mess up one, your gonna start to mess up all of them. So as i said the lesson to these changes is to not mess up any of them. At first we didn't understand the changes, now we understand every single reason of the changes. Smaart thinking! ;P

Change #7 - - Weekly grade checks

This change goes to everyone because some of us had some problems with grades. I had a little problem where I had an F but i changed it right away and changed it into an A. That was the last of my bad grade problem. But this grade check will still help me because every week i can see my grades and how im doing. This year i made a goal to get a 4.0 and right now this change is my way of getting there. Hopefully i can reach my goal and hopefully i can reach it because of this change. This change can help others too because some people have some bad grades in other classes and they need to take a look at those grades every week. Which will keep them up to date with there own grades. Plus if you get a bad grade on your grade check you get put on probation and we wouldn't want that. I really want good grades this quarter because i want to graduate middle school knowing that i atleast got a 4.0. Im so close to getting there, this change can get me to the 4.0. By seeing my grades every week i can fix the grades that i need to fix every week. Plus this grade check can help our parents too, so that they are up to date with our grades and if we need help they can give us the help that we need so that we can bring up our grades. We only can get A, B or C's. If we get D's or F's thats going on probation. So noo D's and F's for us. I dont like F's, i mostly love the A's. A equals awesome! ^--^

Change #6 - - 15 mins to my planner

This change is that during class time, the first 15 minutes belong to our planners. This change is so that we don't get lost about things. Everyone is up to date, every day. No one should be lost about anything. If we have questions about something, the planner is a second place to go, if you even wrote in our planners, which we should. This change will help others to not forget things and to remember them. The first 15 minutes is for us to write things in our planner that we should know and to clean up some confussion that we have about any of the stuff we need to put in our planner because we all know that some of us sometimes don't understand the stuff we talk about. So i think that would be a good time to talk about it. This change is good for all of us because it keeps up productive with our work and that it prevents people from being behind of things. Our planner is part of our dress code so we should have our planner 24/7 other wise if we don't have it we are out of dress code violation. Once in a blue moon our leadership teacher would check if we have our ID's and planners if not we could not come into the leadership room. I always have my planner so this change is no problems for me. This change will also keep me up to date with things that i need to know. Also this change will help others be organized more. Some of us need to straighten up and start getting more organized with stuff that we do and have. Because being not organized can get in our way sometimes. First 15 minutes means to respect the planner ^O^

Change #5- - Time Cards

What this change is that we have time cards. What time cards are is that when we get to school, we take out our planners and give it to our leadership teacher to sign every time we want to work.We gotta be working by 7:15, so if your not at school by that time you don't work. Time cards apply to some people because they can never come early. They come like at 740 and only like 10 mins to work with there group. Like really? they did all the work already there is not point of you being there. One of the people come in to the leadership room, grabs there vest and walks away with out signing there time card. Like hello, do you not know how to read. Like c'mon, its easy to remember "Before working, time cards." Thats so simple to remember. If everyone else can remember, why cant you? This person is just a big ball of confussion, that keeps getting bigger and bigger. This change teachs us to be on time and to learn responsibility in making sure you get your planner signed and making sure your on time. Im hoping that this change smacks this certain person in the face so they can start coming to school early to be able to help there group to set up and work. The change will get to them, soon i hope. I don't have a problem with coming school early. I usually come to school around 7:11 so i'm not late for my jobs. The time for us to start working is just right. Its not to early and its not to late. But to some people it may be too early for them. But if we can do it, they can too.

Change #4 - - Weekly AR

Change #4 is when we have to read a certain amount of points per week so we can make our AR goal on time. This change applied to me because i was one of the people finishing my AR goal last minute. It wasn't fun reading and taking test at one time. I couldn't focus. But now i can concentrate on a certain amount of points to read. So i won't struggle with reading so many points in so many days. How we figured out our daily points is to divide 7 by our overall AR point. My weekly AR points is around 4 or 5. So thats not that bad for a week. Its gonna help me read more often. In elementary school, i was like a book worm. Now i don't like books. I don't know what happened. I just slacked off on my reading. But now since we have this change i won't slack on my reading anymore. Because if we dont finish our weekly goal it leads to change number 3. See how there all working together now. Since we have this change i dont think no one will have a problem with AR goal. Hopefully, then we won't have anymore issues. We can be issue freeee! yaaay! I don't think reading 4 to 5 points per week is hard. I either read one book or like two books and im good for the week. Its not that hard for me, i don't know about the others. Changes can be good for some people, if they really need it. Like for me, this change is good for me! 

Change #3 - - Probation for late work, missing due dates

Change #3 is the change you dont want to happen to you because it is not fun not working. Cause when you get on probation you gotta do other work that doesn't include the work leadership does, to make up for the job you missed. So if you didn't work for 2 days (4 jobs) then you gotta do 4 things to make up for the missing jobs. But once you get on probation, its possible that you could never get off. The only time you can make up for probation is to do it after school or like really early in the morning before 7:15. So you cant do work during school hours. So when you are on probation you are stuck. But the thing is the day you got on probation, work it off as soon as possible so you don't get more late work and so you can work the next day! Some people that go on probation do nothing to get off. They just sit doing nothing when they can be at the library doing work, but noooo they choose to stay. Some people get off probation and get back on agaain! Like really, you just looove to be on probation don't ya? They just loove not to work, well if you don't like working, WHY ARE YOU HERE? ahhh duuh? Probation isn't a good thing to be on, it sucks not doing anything. Its boring not being able to work with your group and having fun. You just sit there and think about what to do. Working sounds boring and pointless for middle school kids to be doing, but the work that we do is fun. It teaches us skills that others don't learn. Then in the future we can take these skills to other places to help us. Where other kids will just struggle because they dont have the cool skills that we do ;) Others gonna be mad, so Staay maad!!

Change #2 - - Checking Webgrader Daily

Change #2 is that we should check webgrader daily because we are going to have assignments on there that tell us when its due. Webgrader will have all the due dates on there. So if we have any questions about any due dates, webgrader is the place to go. Last week we had an incident where our teacher told us that our AR goal is due last friday, but it was actually due this friday because webgrader has the real due dates. So most of us faiiled right there. So now i  make sure to check webgrader everyday just to be safe. Some people didn't check webgrader this week so that person never do there blog post, so now they are gonna get an F and is gonna be on probation AGAAIN! Never learn the lesson the first time. This is why connection is soo important. We are trying to reach them but theres no way. We blog to them, but they never check the blog. Give us a cellphone or house phone number but they dont answer or the number "has been disconnected." But anyways thats why checking webgrader is very important because things are due and we gotta know when. If you don't check webgrader you won't know whats due & then you wont do it and then your DEAD! This change is for EVERYONE! So EVERYONE should be doing this change...but not everyone is doing this.

Change #1- - Lunch Time (In or Out)

For leadership we have new changes that our leadership teacher created for us. The thing about the changes is that they all work as one. Before we didn't understand them but now we do. Change number 1 means that we either have to choose in or out. What that means is that during our lunch time if we want to stay in, we stay in for the rest of the lunch period. Or if we want to go out, we have to stay out. No coming in and out.  Its not a permanent choice for the rest of the year. We just choose everyday either to stay or go out. I usually stay in because i don't like going out to lunch because I don't like to hang out with the people out there. I rather be inside the leadership room because i know that whatever i do or say in there is safe. Rather than outside doing something and saying something won't be safe and some people turn it into bad things. This change is only for the 8th graders, because last year the 8th graders had no choice, they had to go out to lunch. So this year our leadership teacher is giving us a choice which is better than having no choice at all. Last year the 8th graders had to go out because of the talking and loud noises they make. I can't say that we don't make loud noises, but we can control our noises and loud talking. This change doesn't involve the 7th graders because they don't make trouble. Even last year we didn't make any trouble that's why we could stay in. Lucky us, i would of died staying outsidem its a scary place!!

Hero Oral Presentation

During homeroom & advisory we shared about our hero & what we learned from this activity. Some of the presentations was funny because the shirt that she was wearing looked veery wrong. When i seen the shirt i started laughing so loud. In the middle of the day she changed her shirt and that made it look worse than before. Funny stuff. What i learned from this activity is that when your going through life its not easy going through it alone, its more easy when you have someone giving you advice and helping you go through life. When I was listening to everyones oral i noticed something that we all had in common was that everyones hero gives them advice or helps them when they need help. So that shows that heros do help you and give you advice. Everyones hero was special to them and thats what special about heros, there is only one of a kind hero out in the world that is meant to be YOUR hero. If you haven't found your hero or you don't have a hero, don't look for your hero they will find you when the time comes when you need them. When you know your hero your life is gonna be more easy, it just depends if you actually listen to your hero. I enjoyed this activity because it gave me the chance to talk about my hero and observe my hero even more than before i did. Now i know who truly is my hero is...Do You?

First Week Back From Break!

This week was our first week back from break. My break was very tiring and very confusing but atleast i had a break from school so that means i had no homework to worry about, no teachers & no waking up early. I had hard time waking up for school this week but i lived. This week has been rough for some of us. Our leadership teacher create these 8 changes, but the thing about the changes is that if you miss one change or screw up one change you will end up screwing all the changes up. So the lesson to the changes are to not screw up ANY of the changes. Me amd 6 others got on probation on the first day back to school. The reason me and 2 others got on probation is because the 3 of us never did our job correctly. One person got on probation because he never get his time card signed and he's always late. And the last 3 got on probation because one of there group members opened the door when they was cleaning up ice cream and we aren't suppose to open the door when cleaning up stuff. Since this week we only had 3 days for school because we started school on a wednesday, so on Thursday everything was slowly cooling down, by Friday everything was good. The 6 of us got to work again but the last one couldn't work because he did NOTHING to get off probation, like the rest of us we was trying to work off our other jobs so we can start working again, but this one seems like he wants to stay on probation. This week started off bad, like really bad but the ending of this week got WAAY better, some of us even cleared some confussion up and everyone understood everything. Hopeful next week we can have a better week this time. A better week for the ENTIRE week, maybe the ENTIRE YEAR! Lets see.
